Sue visited both P5 classes and talked to us about personal safety . She explained the need to always wear a helmet when we are out on our bikes. She demonstrated how fragile our skull is by dropping an egg on the floor. It smashed! She again demonstrated dropping an egg wearing a helmet and the egg this time was protected! The message being, protect yourself when out cycling. She also talked to us about the importance of wearing reflective clothing in the dark evenings and not opening our doors to strangers. Sue also talked to P5's about wearing our seat belt, while sitting in our booster seats.
Her talk was very interesting. We were delighted also because she gave each of us , a pack of reflective stickers and key-rings.
