Tasty Fractions

We used jaffa cakes to help us understand equivalent fractions better. The whole jaffa cakes can be cut into halves and quarters and we moved these around to make whole numbers and fractions and then joined with other pairs to show equivalent fractions. Working in pairs helped our understanding and we made sure that everyone got an equal share in the end. We're sorry to say that all the evidence of our practical activity is now gone!
