As part of our Maths task for Handling Data we got into groups and designed a survey on a topic voted for within our groups. The topics were favourite animals, favourite colours, members in your family, favourite drink and favourite crisp flavour. We linked up with the P5s in Mrs Bradley's class to make our survey complete. The task had 3 different stages - collecting the data, drawing a bar or block graph from the data and then answering questions about our graphs. The final pieces of work all looked different because of the different topics but we could all answer questions about our work and make statements about our graphs. The task was enjoyable because we had to work as part of a team and we could see the range of interests between the two classes.
