Lá Fhéile Bríde (Lá 'le Bríde): 1 Feabhra. Today, 1st February, was Saint Brigid's Day and as always we marked it by carrying on the centuries old tradition of making crosses with rushes just as Saint Brigid herself did such a long time ago.
