Alternative Communication Parent Workshop

We had an excellent parent workshop on Tuesday evening with Fionnuala and Niamh the Speech & Language Therapist for Sperrinview who support our children in Snowdrop and Daffodil Classes along with children from St Patrick's PS Donaghmore. We thank them both for the very practical and informative manner in which they  guided us all through Alternative Communication systems as well as use of Makaton and Intensive Interaction alongside Communication Boards. It was an enlightening and very enjoyable evening for all attendees! Thank you to all the parents from classes in both schools who attended.
