Recycling - making a paper briquette

As part of our recycling topic we looked at ways of 'Reducing, Reusing and Recycling' and have made a paper briquette based on these principles. First we shredding any left over/used paper, then mixed it with warm water and soaked it over night, next we used the paper press to drain all of the excess water and squeeze the paper into a briquette shape and finally we left it over Christmas to dry. It took quite a bit of hard work and elbow grease but we got there in the end and now we just need to light the fire...
