Today was the beginning of year 2 of the Shared Education project with ourselves and Orchard County Primary School. Our school hosted this first session and we became reacquainted with one another during the ice-breaker activities. After that Miss Barnes took groups through Sphero using the mats and ipads while Mrs Kinsella and Mr Douglas helped the other groups identify key features of the areas between both schools to make a 3D map while we worked in pairs. We gathered and used recyclable materials and produced some great pieces of work. The test will come when we trial out our completed maps with Sphero when O.C.P.S. return to St. Patrick's.
