On our first get-together of 2020 the Primary 7s welcomed Orchard County's pupils to St. Patrick's. We were learning about the workplace and our future careers. The children completed a quiz which helped them to identify which of their best qualities and preferences would lead to a job in a particular work sector. They were able to sort jobs into the public and private sector and played a few games to see who could come up with the most interesting jobtitles. The children also had a guess at what some of the most popular jobs pay their employees. We were lucky to have a visit from 4 different engineers who each explained their job and even brought along some freebies - they were very welcome to our school.
