The Primary 6 pupils had a wonderful day at Navan Centre & Fort in Armagh as part of their Viking theme in World Around Us. Here they got to meet a real life Viking who showed off the various weapons he would use in battle. The pupils also got to take part in a Viking trial, thus experiencing how the Vikings administered law in their society. Finally, the pupils had fun learning the Viking alphabet and experienced how it was to write a poem using a quill and inkwell.
