Poetry with Liz Weir

Today we visited Hill of the O'Neill where we learned about the history of the O'Neill clan and viewed the countryside from the top of the hill with Peter Lant, the education officer.

Liz Weir, a local poet, author and storyteller, told us stories and talked about writing poems. She helped us improve our poems about Hill of the O'Neill. We are looking forward to seeing our poems published later this year.
