NSPCC Presented with £400 cheque by St Patrick's PS pupils.
Congratulations to all the pupils (and their parents!!) who bought tickets for the Easter Raffle this year. Altogether, with the brilliant help of Primary 7 pupils who sold tickets each day for 4 weeks, the children raised £400 for NSPCC. Imelda came on Monday 16th April to receive the cheque from the pupils and she was absolutely delighted with the amount raised.
The money will go to keeping the Child Line open 24 hours a day 365 days a year for children who need help and support in Northern Ireland. This phone line is a vital life line for so many children.
Thank you all, from NSPCC and from the children who will use the phone lines this year. Imelda told us we have paid for the support of 10 children - a very humbling thought.
WELL DONE, ST. PATRICK'S!!
