Minibeast hunting in Parkanaur
10th Apr 2017
Our Primary Five classes joined together for a class trip to Parkanaur Forest to hunt for minibeasts. Jill was in charge for the day and we spent the morning learning about woodlice, ladybirds, centipedes, millipedes and worms. After break we split into our groups and went for a walk into the forest. We even spotted the fallow deer along the way. We played 'Bug Bingo' in the forest - each group had great fun searching for the minibeasts on the list. Some people got stuck in straight away! In the afternoon we made our own minibeasts (and a few megabeasts!) and ended the day with a few games outside in the sunshine. Thanks to Jill and the staff in Parkanaur for ensuring we all enjoyed our day out.
