Mark the Fireman

Yesterday Primary Five had a very informative hour with Mark the fireman. He talked to us about his duties and what his typical day might involve. He told us about the main sources, which have the potential to cause fire in our homes. If a fire did occur, he gave us advice on what to do. He talked to us about the importance of having and checking our 'fire alarms' regularly in our homes.

At the end of the session, he gave each one of us an 'information pack' which we were then to discuss with our families.

In school, as part of ICT we will now work on creating our own  fire safety poster.
