Today the P7 class teamed up with our eco-council for Day 2 of our 'Hedgerow Heroes' project. Our school is one of only 11 schools chosen for this.
A huge thank you to Emily and Bronagh who came in a led the project. They provided our children with spades, gloves and new plants.
We made a new hedgerow in our school by planting about 130 new trees/shrubs. We can't wait to see these grow over time. Hopefully we have created some new habitats for the animals and insects we learned about in our first session.
